With a $135,000 Professional division as well as prize-pools available in its Main, Intermediate, and Amateur divisions, CEVO plans to run an action-packed series of playoffs this summer.
More specific details have now been released concerning details for CEVO Season 7 playoffs as well as how moveups/movedowns will work for Season 8.
All playoff brackets for CEVO Season 7 will be released on Monday, June 29th (except for the Professional division).

Playoff seeds in all the sub-Professional divisions will be determined by regular season standings using CEVO's CPI ranking system. CEVO insists that all regular season matches must complete by the 28th of June.
Playoff qualification specifications have also been released for each division:
Professional Division (North America & Europe):
- the top 3 teams from each conference + 2 invited teams (EnVyUs & fnatic) will qualify for Season 7 Professional Division Playoffs (July 24-26) at the MLG.tv Arena in Columbus, Ohio
- format: group play (bo1 with 2 groups of 4 teams) followed by a 4 team single elimination (bo3) bracket with a bo5 grand finals
- movedowns: the bottom 4 teams in each conference will be relegated to the Season 8 Professional Placement Tournament, all others will retain their spots in the division
Main Division (North America & Europe):
- the top 8 teams from each conference will qualify for the Season 7 Main Division Playoffs
- format: double elimination bracket (bo3 matches w/ map veto)
- moveups: all Main Division playoff teams will be invited to participate in the Season 8 Professional Placement Tournament
- movedowns: teams with less than a .500 regular season winning percentage will be moved down to the Season 8 Intermediate division
Intermediate Division (North America & Europe):
- the top 32 teams in North America and the top 16 teams in Europe will qualify for the Season 7 Intermediate Division Playoffs
- format: double elimination bracket (bo1 matches w/ map veto)
- moveups: all Season 7 Intermediate Playoff teams will be invited to the Season 8 Main division
Amateur Division (North America):
- the top 64 teams will qualify for the Season 7 Amateur Division Playoffs
- format: double elimination bracket (bo1 matches w/ map veto)
- moveups: the top 4 Amateur Playoff teams will be invited to the Season 8 Main division and all other Amateur Playoff teams will be automatically moved up to the Season 8 Intermediate division
Free Division (North America & Europe):
- the top 32 teams in each conference will qualify for the FREE Division Playoffs
- format: double elimination bracket (bo1 matches w/ pre-determined map)
- all North American FREE Playoff teams will be automatically moved up to the Season 8 Amateur division and FREE European Playoff teams will be moved up to the Season 8 Intermediate division
